Dylan Dauzart is a two time all district right tackle out of Alexandria Senior High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. At 6’3” and 285 pounds, he makes sure to take down his man every play. Watching his film, he has no problem taking anyone down with his strength. Dauzart always aims to work as hard as he can in football as the possibility of continuing his education thanks to the sport motivates him. In his senior year, he aims to get first team all state and district.

At what age did you begin playing football?
I began playing football when I was around six years old. It was a flag football team and I was playing center.
Do you play any other sports in high school?
Yes. I’m on the track and field team at my high school. The sport really helps me with my speed.
How do you think coaches and teammates would describe you as a player?
I think coaches and teammates would describe me as a leader who works hard.
What advice would you give to younger players who want to play high school football one day?
I would tell younger players coming up that they just have to work hard and don’t give up on playing.
Outside of sports, do you have any hobbies?
I just mainly like to hang out with friends. I also enjoy video games. Madden is my favorite video game for sure.
Do you have a favorite college or NFL athlete?
I would say any offensive linemen at LSU are athletes that are my favorites.
What is your favorite high school memory so far on the team?
Just being in the locker room with all the boys is the best part to me. That’s some of the best memories.
What do you do in your offseason?
In the offseason, I workout. I make sure I keep my body conditioned for the season.
Do you have any specific personal goals for next season?
Next season, I want to make first team all-district and first team all-state.
What are some pregame activities that your team does?
Before the games we just listen to music. We make sure to play hype music to get us hype and ready to go on the field.
What pregame song gets you hype?
Anything by NBA Youngboy gets me going for gametime.
What other positions would you want to play?
I would like to be a defensive linemen for sure.
What would you say motivates you the most?
The fact that I will possibly have an opportunity to receive a free education due to football is what motivates me the most.
What has football taught you about life?
Football has taught me that nothing in life is given to you. You have to work hard for everything.
What’s the most challenging thing about being a right tackle?
I would say the plays and responsibilities can be challenging sometimes, but I have to just push through.
