I started playing football around the age of eight years old. At first, I didn’t really like it. My dad pushed me and made me keep going. After that, I just fell in love with it.

Union Parish is 5-0 so far this season! What would say has been the biggest key in getting this?

I would say staying leveled has been the biggest key. We have to take the highs and lows as they come each game and do our job.

What’s your favorite thing about your position?

I take in pride in causing goals for the running backs and protecting my quarterback.

What are some goals you want to achieve this season?

I would like to go undefeated for the regular season and win a District Championship. We haven’t had one since 2015. The main goal is to win a State Championship.

How do you think your coaches and teammates would describe you?

I think they would describe me as someone they could count on. They would say I am the guy who does his job. I hope they look at me that way and know they can count on me.

What has football taught you about yourself?

Football has brought out the hard workers in me. It’s taught me that I am gritty, and how to be gritty. It’s really taught me how to do my job, I have something laid out in front of me every week and I have to do it.

What’s your favorite thing about playing football in Louisiana?

I love the competition. There’s a lot of competition around here and it makes me better.

Three words to describe yourself?

Determined, hardworking, and for my playstyle I would say nasty.

What activities are you involved in besides your sport?

I play video games and I like to hang out with my friends.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I see myself in college. I plan to major in Kinesiology.

Are there any college or NFL athletes that you look up to or try to model your play style after?

I model my style after Quenton Nelson, he plays left guard for the Indianapolis Colts. He’s one of the best so I try to model my style after him.
