Tell me about yourself.

I’m a senior this year. I like to workout and bond with my team. When I’m bored or want to clear my head, I like to drive to Denham Springs.

How did you start playing football?

I started playing when I was 5. I started with the Baton Rouge Raiders. I really got into it when I was 13. At first, I was scared to hit, but I got used to it.

What is one of your most exciting football achievements this far?

Making All-District.

What keeps you motivated?

Living in Baton Rouge. There is nothing wrong with Baton Rouge, but I want to get out. Also, I used to get in trouble a lot and football was my escape.

What is a goal you have for this season?

I goal I have is to win a state championship. I want to be on All-State, All-District, and All-Metro lists. I also want to receive a lot of D1 offers.

What is something you have learned from football?

It’s not just a game, it’s about life too. When it’s good or bad, you have to keep going no matter what. Coach Darryl Asberry taught me that.

What is an academic goal you have this year?

To make all A’s and B’s.

What is your mindset before a game?

Just don’t overdo it. I try to focus on my responsibilities and destroy my opponent in front of me.

What are you most excited for this season?

My class and my team. I feel like we can go wherever we want this year with my front 5: Carlos Sanders, Jude Foster, Senoj Jones, and Jordan Joseph. I would play with them against any 4 or 5. I feel we have the best offense in the state.
