How long have you been playing football?

Xe’ree: I’ve been playing tackle football since 1st grade.

How would you describe your role on the team?

X: I’m a leader, leading by example. I love showing young guys that if they put in the work, something great will come out of it.

How would your teammates describe you?

X: I’m very athletic and a leader. I show them what to do and lead by example, the way a leader should. They would say I’m fun to be around, and I love coaching the young guys, helping them get to where they need to be.

What would you say is your biggest strength?

X: How I read the offense, It is easy reading the QB and receiver for me, going and doing my job, and playing the ball as a linebacker/safety.

What do you need to improve on the most to make sure you’re successful at the next level?

X: One thing I think I have to improve on is just getting bigger, working on my body in the weight room.

Who would you compare yourself to, in college or the NFL?

X: I don’t compare myself to people, but I’ve heard people compare me to Jamal Adams or new-age Kam Chancellor.

What is your goal for this season with Kennedy Catholic?

X: I’m trying to win state, and have a great season with the team, making sure everyone does their best. Also, my personal goal is to at least 15 interceptions this season.

What are you going to bring to the college team that recruits you?

X: I’m going to bring everything I can and take someone’s spot. Obviously, I’m going to be a leader and going to pushing everyone, but I’m there to take a spot and I’m going to do bigger things in the future, playing professionally.
