What are some hobbies you have outside of football? I like spending time with my family. I am very family oriented. If I am not with family, with my trainer most of the time and vice versa.

When did you start playing football? I started at age of six. I always loved football because it is like a family thing, I fell in love watching my cousins and uncle paly. I was too aggressive in flag football so I had to move to tackle league. I would always try to tackle them instead of pulling their flags.

What NFL player would your compare yourself to? Honestly, Telvin Smith, he is more of a long Sam linebacker and I am pretty long. He is very athletic and can play inside and up. He is also 6’3 and I am 6’3.

What are your favorite aspects of your game? I like how aggressive and fast my hands are, my hands are very quick, and I can go from sideline to sideline

Did you start out playing any other position? I was a Running back God, I got moved up to varsity my freshman year to play Running back. I was a man-child.

How do you prepare for an upcoming game? I get all my drip, get both Airpods charged up just in case, I listen to my music during my pregame meal, I have one in my ear as we go over plays, and after that we eat, chill, and go back outside. Its just a vibe, its Friday.

What has been the highlight of your football career? Going to state last year, it was our first time going to state, we have not been to state since 2011 so it was a big thing. The hotel room was good, going out to eat was good, the whole experience was good, it was fun.

What are some team and personal goals that you have for next season? I want to be more of a verbal leader instead of just leading by example. I want to work on my lateral movements to be more explosive and shorten my steps when it comes to pass coverage. For my team goal, I want to make it back to state and win.

What would you bring to a college team? I bring that spark, explosiveness, and energy. I just bring energy to the game. It does not matter what college I go to, I am just trying to be the best linebacker that goes through that college.
